Fox and Capcom have announced plans to make a Mega Man movie

Mega Man Movie Reportedly in Development at 20th Century Fox. The news comes just three months after it was announced Man of Action is working on a new “Mega Man” animated series.



"20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment have started development on a fan favorite in the video game world. Heralded as one of the most popular video game franchises in history, MEGA MAN is now on his way to the big screen. Feel free to be cautiously optimistic."

Debuting in 1987, “Mega Man” has gone on to become one of Capcom’s most recognizable properties, with the young android starring in more than 50 games across multiple platforms. He’s also appeared in multiple animated series, artbooks and comics, and on countless merchandise.
